St George’s Junior School Shrewsbury

St George’s Junior School Shrewsbury wanted a new play area in an existing fence area they had which was under used and unstable for what they wanted for a play area. The existing are was wood chip which the school felt was not practical for their needs and caused maintenance issues. St George’s asked Ray Parry Playgrounds Ltd to designed and install a completely new play provision within this area and provided them with the play equipment that would suit all their pupils needs. We installed a large Playframe Zenith, traverse wall, three bar balance, Tarzan bars and reutilise an existing play tunnel. All the equipment was installed into the fenced area complete with wetpour mulch safer surfacing, we have created a year round and maintenance free play area which has been a great success with all the children and school staff. We Also installed a 4.7m Timber shelter complete with decked floor and seating, this a great area for meeting up, quiet time, learning, outdoor teaching and sheltering from the elements.
