What is your project process?

We start with an initial site visit to measure up your chosen area, discuss your wants and needs, provide our own input from our expert knowledge to help you decide, we then draw up a 3D design, scaled plans and quotation. Once ordered, the installation process is undertaken by one of our own approved installation teams and checked once complete.

Does all play equipment require safer surfacing?

No, Well maintained grass is acceptable up to 1.5m Fall Height. Tarmac is acceptable up to 0.60m Fall Height. Over 1.5m High require a certificated impact absorbing surface such as rubber wetpour, rubber grass mats or play wood chip.

Do you offer playgrounds Inspections?

Yes we do, Ray Parry Playgrounds employs a Registered & Certificated RPII Inspector.

How do I maintain my equipment?

We Recommend all equipment is visually checked over weekly, looking for any signs of wear and also to maintain.
Monthly or quarterly inspections should be carried out to closely inspect the equipment and surfacing. Looking at the fittings and structures checking for any loose fixings and missing caps or worn structures.
Annual Inspections should be undertaken yearly and take an in depth look at the play structures and surfacing identifying any required maintenance that maybe required.

What timber guarantees does your equipment come with?

European Pine has a 10 year guarantee and Radiato Pine has a 15 year against infestation and rot.

What safety standards does your equipment meet?

All of our equipment is designed and installed to comply with BSEN 1176 & 1177.

What are the advantages of steel ground fixings on timber equipment?

The timber does not come in contact with the ground helping preventing timber decay, strimmer damage and increase the life of the timber product.
