Play and Shelter at The Woodlands Primary
The Woodlands Primary School had an existing area which they could not use and wanted developing. They wanted a play tunnel which also incorporated play items to help develop the core skills of their KS1 children.
The Woodlands Primary School came to Ray Parry Playgrounds as they knew we could design them a play area of their dreams.
We came up with a central play tunnel complete with steps over the top, a Log Snake, Balance Weave, Log Snake Weaver and Sloping Balance Weave all install on new Yellow Wetpour Safer Surfacing and Green Mulch Wetpour Safer Surfacing.
The school also had an existing large umbrella which was unusable all year round as it was on grass. We came up with installing a timber sleeper surround to create a level area and installed Green Mulch Wetpour Safer Surfacing. We created a flat area where pupils can shade and shelter from the elements year round.
The School are extremely pleased with the two new areas we have created and are excited for the children to make use of the areas again.
Our School have had two projects completed by Ray Parry and we have been very happy with both. The ideas, development, communication, attention to detail and aftercare has been excellent. I would recommend them without a doubt‘
