New Play Area for Llanwddyn Community at Lake Vyrnwy

The play area at Llanwddyn Lake Vyrnwy was getting warn out and needed to be replaced. The Abertridwr Playpark Committee decided what they would like and asked play companies for quotes.

The community decided that Ray Parry Playgrounds were the best company. We came up with a fantastic design and the costs were within their budget.

Our design Included a Bespoke Junior Climbing frame which offered a challenge with Tarzan rings, Traverse Net and 1.5m high slide. We included a infant toddler climber with easy access slide, spring tractor, spring seesaw, curlicue spinner, cradle swings, flat swings and basket seat swings. We installed the play area in an existing wood chip area which the community topped up before the play area was opened.

The new play area has been a huge hit with the community.

From the beginning of our project to install a brand new community play area, Ray worked closely with us to make sure the final design was exactly what we wanted. He made sure that we could cater for everyone despite the size of the play area itself, and our budget.

We had a number of companies in the running for this, but Ray Parry won the vote of the committee. He was extremely dedicated – always available if we had any questions, and always happy to make changes and updates. It’s definitely a company with the personal touch – we always spoke to Ray and really got to know him well. We saw him on lots of site visits too, before, during and after the build.

The work itself was done on time, professionally, and the equipment itself is of excellent quality. It’s nice to know a lot of it is British sourced and made too!

We cannot recommend Ray highly enough – any future customers won’t be disappointed with the new equipment, and those running the project will have absolute peace of mind that Ray will provide fantastic customer service. Superb all round – thanks so much Ray.
