Apley Wood Primary School

Telford, Shropshire

Apley Wood Primary School in Telford, Shropshire asked Ray Parry Playgrounds Ltd to design a new play area which could utilise an old unused area and keep the natural wood setting. We provided them with three new play units a Clamber stack, a play frame and a Triplay unit. These units offered a variety on play options for the pupils from climbing up high, balancing, traversing and provide many differing challenges for a wide age range of children. We used wood chip safer surfacing to keep the natural feel within the tree environment.

Selina Mahy, School Business Manager:

We were really impressed with the service we received from Ray Parry Playgrounds Ltd and the playground equipment we have purchased. They visited the school site and advised us what playground equipment would be best for the area and the pupils would be able to use the most. We received the quote and drawing of the area very promptly. Ray Parry Playgrounds Ltd came out to visit site again to make sure everything was fine before the work was to proceed. The playground was installed over the Easter Holidays, feed back from the pupils was amazing!! they are really enjoying the equipment, one comment was it is like Telford town Centre play park!  Thank you again for the efficient service you have provided.
