A Fresh Look for Caradoc View Hanwood
Hanwood Parish Council tendered for new play equipment at their Caradoc View play area. Ray Parry Playgrounds were successfully awarded the tender contract.
Strong, robust and long lasting equipment is what the parish council were looking for. They had previously had timber equipment which had not held up to the use. We designed a multiplay which would appeal to the younger uses which was colourful, appealing and fun to play one. The steel multiplay featured a 1.3m high slide, fire pole, sloping bridge, access net, play panel, easier access steps and a challenging arched ladder. Along with the multiplay we installed a set of Cradle seat swings, Flat seat swings, Inclusive spring rider and an inclusive back to back roundabout.
The project involved removing all the existing wood chip safer surfacing and timber edging. We turfed all areas and installed grass mat safer surfing along with new play signs.
The New look play area has been a real hit with the local children and surrounding residence. We have bought a whole new lease of life to the play area.
