Longden Village Play Area
Longden, Shropshire
We recently completely transformed an existing old and disused village play area in Longden near Shrewsbury. Longden Parish Council asked Ray Parry Playgrounds to completely transform their existing play area from an old and uninviting play area to a new fun and exciting play area where children of all ages and abilities can play together.
The old remaining equipment and fence was removed and we installed completely new equipment complete with steel bow topped fencing and self closing gates. The play equipment included and Nimrod multiplay climber, Steel Swings with Flat Cradle and Inclusive Basket Swing, Spring Seesaw, Inclusive Spinning Dish Roundabout, Curlicue Spinner, Steel Bench and we refurbished an existing spring rider which still had plenty of life left in it.
All the play equipment was installed in black wetpour safer surfacing. The new play area has been a real hit with the village and local people and is now a well used play area.
